I've got a big backlog of new material that I'd like to feature on Breaking The Tethers. Accordingly, I turned this into an "all-new" show. Fave track this week: "Apocalympics" by the Gordon Grdina Quartet. Couldn't resist playing something with that title, especially considering that the winter olympics are only about a month away (not that this is a commentary on the olympics!).
The next show will be on Monday, January 15, 10-11 am MT, 90.9 FM, www.cjsw.com. This will also be an "all-new" program, again, just to put a dent in the backlog. I think the show after that, January 22, will feature the more common mix of old and new music.
