From this past Monday, here's a show that I really dug (not that I don't like them all, of course! 😀).  Plenty of variety here, running from boogaloo (JV's Boogaloo Squad - thanks for the kind note on Twitter and the follow!) to freaky atmospheric stuff (Bennie Maupin) to hard bop (Harold Mabern) to avant jazz (Nick Fraser) plus more.
