For some reason, until the Sunday before this program, I was convinced that this day was April 23 not April 20.  In my brain, I'd jumped ahead three days. I'm not quite sure why but I'm not alone in doing this these days...

Onto today's show. Basically, this was a bunch of new releases built around an old centrepiece. The older tune was an early live version of "The creator has a master plan", performed by the man who wrote it, Pharaoh Sanders (who is still alive; I checked). The new stuff leaned to the danceable side of things a bit but was still pretty varied.  Probably my two faves were the songs that started off and (basically) finished up the show, "Hidden chamber" by Avishai Cohen and "We've landed" by Tony Allen and Hugh Masekela.
