This show featured the usual musical odds and ends but there were also a couple of themes on the go, a Miles Davis theme and a John Coltrane theme. I played one track by Miles ("Give it up" from Rubberband) and one inspired by Miles ("Miles to go" by Bill King). I played a cover of a Coltrane tune ("Acknowledgement" by A Love Supreme Electric; this was my fave track on the program, BTW) and an homage to Coltrane ("John Coltrane" by the Clifford Jordan Quartet). There was also a number of tracks that started with solo bass work; not a bad thing, of course.
