First show in February 2021, fittingly on the first of the month. Unlike the previous two weeks, this was not an all-new music show; rather, this was a return to the more usual format of BTT, with a mix of styles and dates reflected in the music. Fave stuff this week included groovy jazz from Ian Hendrickson-Smith ("The lowdown", title track of his latest record), a surprisingly great tune from Badge Epoque Ensemble ("Sing a silent gospel"), and the totally weird "Distole" from the group from La Plata, Argentina who's name I never get straight (we'll leave it at that!).
