Here's my last March catch-up entry. Some things to note in this edition of Breaking The Tethers:
*Two tracks from South American musicians, Nacho Szulgas 5 and Ernesto Judos.
*More stride piano from Emmett Cohen ("Pitter panther patter"; say that three times fast)
*A Pharoah Sanders track, which is always worth celebrating. This time, I played the fairly crazy "Red, black & green" from Thembi. I've heard that Pharoah has a new album coming out, the first in a long while.
Listen to it all here.
Thanks.
Andrew
