Sometimes, shows come together nicely, flow together nicely, etc. I think this was one of those shows. It was a bit more out there than the previous week and there was no shortage of stylistic variation but it still came across as a complete whole. My fave two songs from the program: "Domiabra" by Noah Howard (it's always good to play some straight-up free jazz) and "Loser" by Dave McMurray (one of my top Grateful Dead/Jerry Garcia songs sung by the great Bettye LaVette).
