Some shows are just "good all around" shows and this one falls into that category. I would still say that there were a few high points (or high points of high points). For instance, I loved the two tracks from the Summer of soul soundtrack, Ray Barretto rapping his way through "Together" and "Hold on, I'm comin'" from Herbie Mann, featuring a wild, spaced-out guitar solo from Sonny Sharrock.
