Back to Breaking The Tethers! A regular BTT kinda show this week, with old and new music and a variety of styles of jazz. My fave track this week was probably "Brigach and Ganges", a 21+ minute indo-jazz excursion from 1967. I've somewhat got into the habit recently of beginning the program with a long track, such as "Brigach and Ganges"; I think I'll carry that on for a while with future shows.
On that note, the next edition of Breaking The Tethers will be on Monday, February 26, 2018, 10-11 am MT on Calgary's community and campus radio station, CJSW, 90.9 FM or www.cjsw.com.
