In some ways this was a typical show, in some ways it wasn't.  There was the usual Breaking The Tethers diversity but there were a few oddities, even for this show e.g. "Cyclopy" by proto-Kansas, Little Feat going jazz-rock ("Day at the dog races"; I'd promised a few weeks back that I would play some jazzy Little Feat), and a full set of tracks with vocals. I also featured a recording by the recently deceased piano great, McCoy Tyner, "Rebirth" from the Sahara album (a favourite of mine).
