This was perhaps a mellower show than usual, maybe more on the straight-ahead or normal side of things. No worries. It’s always good to have variation. Surprise track was “Submarine” by Bob James, someone I’ve associated with smooth jazz (which I hate) in the past but I’ve since realized that his career palette is broader than that.
