A long song was featured at the start of BTT this week. This time, it was "Out-blood-rageous" by Soft Machine, the version from the Third album, once of my all-time fave tunes. I've played it before but not for several years, I think. It made an appearance this week in honour of its composer, keyboardist Mike Ratledge, who passed away on February 5.

The show ended with a trip to hell. Or, more specifically, I played "Hell" by the Squirrel Nut Zippers. I've put this track on BTT before but, again, not for a long time. It was a snappy way to end things.
