After all the "new" shows I've presented over the last while, this one was almost completely in the other direction, with only two tracks from 2016 ("Summer night" by the Antonio Ciacca Quartet and "The Galapagos suite: the KT boundary" by Renee Rosnes).  The other six were from various times prior (1969, 1970, 1974, 2007, 2014, and 2015).

I also played a few faves in this episode, including "To whom it may concern" by the Tony Williams Lifetime (I'd kind of forgotten how heavy Lifetime was, at least in their initial recordings) and "Song for an untitled lady" by the John Betsch Society (from Earth blossom, a somewhat forgotten classic if there ever was one).
