No interview this week, just music and a true mixed bag at that. New, old (back as far as 1962: "Effendi" by the McCoy Tyner Trio), loads of different styles including a drum solo ("Sideburn" by Soft Machine from their new live album), spoken word ("Reduction" by Lisa Marie Simmons), two Bob Dylan covers ("As I went out one morning" by Wayne Alpern and "It's alright Ma" by Charlie Ballantine), and some free jazz ("Cyclone" by Provey, Gorry, and Gunsberg). How about more of this, but different, next week? Yes!
